The response to our Opening Night for Wake Up Sydney! was overwhelming and very encouraging! We are now digesting what has happened are are in the process of 'cooking-up' a project model that is sustainable, grounded and that will best serve our mission.

To give you an idea of what Wake Up Sydney! events are like...our opening night program, held on the 1st April 2009 was an uplifting evening of casual elegance blending live music, elevating film, an inspirational guest speaker and mindful awareness.

Guest Speaker: John Milton is a pioneering ecologist, author, meditation teacher and vision quest leader. Those of you who have read the bestselling book
Presence: An exploration of profound change by Peter Senge and Otto Scharmer & Co will appreciate the significant influence John has had on those leading social and organisational change. His life has been committed to shifting global awareness towards ecological and environmental sustainability. He is a professor in environmental studies, a Woodrow Wilson scholar and founder of Threshold and Friends of the Earth and was the first ecologist on staff at The White House. John is a widely published and respected author on ecology, the environment and inner development.
